Quick Solutions To Come Back To The Present…
To unwind, there are a gazillion easy techniques to bring oneself back to the present. Here are a few examples:
Cross your arms over your chest and alternate tapping on your shoulders. This can assist in calming the nervous system and bringing the brain back to the present.
Similar in idea, EFT tapping follows a set protocol and is frequently performed while repeating an affirmation, like "That was then and this is now."
Try a breathing technique like the Square Breath: Count four beats for an inhale, four beats to pause, four beats to exhale, and four beats to pause. Until you feel better, keep doing this.
Another simple breath practice is to focus on breathing all the way in and then breathing all the way out. Continue until you have more tranquility.
Rub your hands together and stamp your feet on the ground.
Look around the room, including above and behind you. Take careful note of your surroundings.
Count five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste.
Find all the blue things in the room. Then everything red. Sort the hues until you start to feel more at ease.
Shake, jump, walk, or dance around—movement is a powerful way to come back to the body and step out of the stress response.
Breath deeply as you sniff a comforting smell like lavender or a favorite perfume.

One-legged king pigeon pose A, or eka pada rajakapotasana A in Sanskrit, is a deep and challenging backbend that opens the chest and develops flexibility in the hips. From pigeon pose, the yogi bends the back foot in toward the buttocks, clasping the toes in a deep backbend.
Instructions
Begin in pigeon pose with the right foot back.
Exhale and bend the right foot toward the buttocks.
Inhale and reach the right arm (and left arm, if possible) up and back. Clasp the right toes with both hands.
Breathe while holding the pose.
