A story on gratitude:
“There are two branches of Gratitude. One is Gratefulness, and the other is Thanksgiving.
The Gratefulness branch is when the Bowl of Life is so full that it’s almost overflowing, but not quite. So full that it’s almost bowed at the top, but not quite dribbling over the edges. And, that is the experience of the Great Fullness of Life.
And when you’re in the Great Fullness of Life, you’re one with God, you’re one with the Universe, there is no “other”. And that is so Full Filling, that the Bowl of Life gives way and to overflow at last, which flows you directly over to the second branch, that of Thanksgiving.
When you’re in the space of Thanksgiving, the Bowl of Life is absolutely overflowing. You’re so grateful that there is an “other” because all you want to do is contribute and serve and share and give and make a difference. And that is so Full Filling, that it puts you right back onto the other branch where you experience the Great Fullness of Life, where you’re one with God and there is no “other”.
And, so you see, you can live your whole life in the two branches of Gratitude…”
The fastest way to turn your life around is with gratitude, and this wonderful story exemplifies that so well. Gratitude catapults us into happiness because gratitude is our true nature, and so is happiness. Gratitude and happiness are one and the same, not two distinct concepts. You will be happy when you are grateful, and when you are happy, you are naturally grateful. At the end of the day, all of us want is to be happy, and being grateful is the simplest, quickest way to do that. Remain grateful, and you will live your whole life in happiness.
Put it to the test. Write down ten things for which you are grateful right now.
"I am thankful for... because.. "
And take note of the difference in how you feel after completing this exercise.

Deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest Drops Sharply in One Year–Fewest Acres Since 2019…
Deforestation across the Amazon Rainforest has fallen by 55% this year, marking the lowest amounts since 2019, and somewhat of a major victory to recently-elected leftist governments in Brazil and Colombia.
The data was provided to Reuters via the Monitoring of the Andean Amazon Project, which tracks forest cover and loss across all the nations of the Amazon using the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2 satellite.
The data showed a 59% drop in primary forest loss in Brazil, which promisingly runs very close to the numbers provided by Brazil’s government under Luiz Ignacio de Silva, who ran on a part-environmental platform.
