To support in developing strength and resiliency, one might use the five elements of nature on a regular basis. Here is a straightforward daily formula for using Ayurvedic remedies that can change your life. Dinacharya is another name for these ingrained daily rituals or routines in Sanskrit.

Pranayama - The Air Element

Breathing exercises allow you to experience the air element and are a wonderful way to start your morning and get your mind ready for meditation. Pranayama serves as a powerful ritual to shift your mindset. It assists in calming the nervous system and might be quite good for passing on to our kids. You can do pranayama in the morning to get ready for the day and in the afternoon before picking up your kids from school to get ready for their return home.

Meditation - The Earth Element

When you meditate every day and ground your being, you can encounter the earth element. You'll feel more awake and accessible for your family if you get up early for "you" time before taking care of everyone else. This method is "true medicine" or "the gem" in life. It's best to keep quiet. You may develop your intuition and pick up spiritual messages when you sit in peace and solitude. Consider the activity as a chance to take a break from constant talking or reprimanding. It alters everything!

Walks in Nature - The Space Element

When you are in nature and interacting with all the components, you can experience the space element. To experience the calming effect of water, try looking for a park with a lake, fountain, or pond nearby. Being in nature gives a feeling of freedom from daily stressors. It is a great habit to get into following stressful situations like dropping kids off at school. Nature is a soul-healing force.

Yin Yoga - The Water Element

The water element can be experienced when you tap into Yin or feminine energy. During this practice, one can connect with the lower chakras which can also be grounding. This method focuses on mental and emotional well-being. This type of yoga is performed by holding the poses for three to five minutes while letting the muscles to unwind. Yin yoga assists in relaxing the lower body's tight areas, particularly the hips, where a lot of stress is stored. It is also excellent for releasing the body's energy channels, known as nadis in Ayurvedic medicine and meridians in Chinese medicine. You can feel the energy moving through your body more freely after doing this practice. Legs up the wall to finish your practice is the best part!

When you are carrying out your purpose—practicing your dharma—the fire element is truly felt. When you are doing what you love, have you ever noticed how alive you feel?
