Divine Healing
What is divine healing?
Fundamentally, divine healing is the belief that our bodily, emotional, and mental well-being is restored by an intervening higher force, frequently connected to the divine or supernatural.
This idea is closely related to spirituality, religion, and the conviction that there are forces at work in the universe that are beyond our comprehension.
It's a mystical thread that permeates all cultures and religions while remaining transcendent, serving as a reminder that, if we are open to it, there may be something beyond reason that has the power to radically alter our lives.
Here’re a few instances of popular divine healing practices:
Chakra Healing:
Based on the belief in seven energy centers, or chakras, located along the body’s midline.
Love, communication, intuition, and other particular traits and facets of life are linked to particular chakras.
In order to balance and align the chakras and remove blockages, practitioners employ energy work, crystals, music, and meditation. This promotes both physical and emotional well-being.
Karma Cleansing:
Rooted in the idea of karma, the law of cause and effect, that governs actions and their consequences.
The goal of karma cleansing is to break bad karmic patterns from previous deeds that might be having an impact on one's present life.
Chanting, acts of kindness, forgiveness exercises, and meditation are some of the techniques used to generate positive energy and end destructive cycles.
Reiki Healing:
An energy-based practice originating in Japan, Reiki involves the channeling of universal life energy through the practitioner’s hand movements.
The energy is focused on the recipient's body in order to support mental, emotional, and spiritual healing as well as relaxation and equilibrium.
Reiki treatments are intended to release energy blockages and encourage the body's own healing mechanisms.
Crystal Healing:
Utilizes the energetic properties of crystals and gemstones to restore balance and well-being.
It is said that each type of crystal has a certain vibration that can help with a particular bodily, emotional, or spiritual problem.
To access the therapeutic energies of crystals, practitioners can wear them as jewelry, place them on the body, or make crystal grids.
Sound Healing:
Involves the use of sound vibrations to promote healing and relaxation.
Methods can be singing bowls, using tuning forks, chanting, or listening to music that resonates at particular frequencies.
It is thought that sound healing affects the body's energy field and promotes alignment and harmony.
Herbal and Plant Medicine:
Draws upon the healing properties of plants and herbs to address physical and emotional imbalances.
The body's natural healing processes are assisted by the use of herbal medicines, teas, tinctures, and essential oils.
Certain plants are picked because of their unique medicinal properties, which may include promoting immunity, promoting calmness, or facilitating digestion.
Pranic Healing:
Based on the principle that life force energy (prana) flows through the body and influences health.
To replace sick or stagnant energy with new, energizing prana, prana healers employ specialized procedures.
The goal of this exercise is to bring the body's energy system back into harmony and vigor.
Shamanic Healing:
Rooted in indigenous traditions, shamanic healing involves connecting with the spirit world for guidance and healing.
To enter altered states of consciousness, practitioners may employ drumming, rituals, spiritual traveling, and other methods.
Restoring a sense of wholeness and addressing spiritual imbalances are the goals of shamanic healing.
Aromatherapy:
Utilizes the aromatic essences of essential oils to promote physical and emotional healing.
Oils are used topically, inhaled, or in massage to promote relaxation, regulate mood, and ease symptoms.
Different oils have different healing qualities; for example, eucalyptus helps the respiratory system, while lavender is good for relaxation.

CRYSTAL OF THE DAY
POSITIVE NEWS OF THE DAY
A Native American tribe that had swathes of its territory stolen during California’s gold rush is set to get some of it back as part of a pioneering land deal.
The Yurok will be the first Native people to manage tribal land alongside the National Park Service. They will help steward a 125-acre site known by the Yuork as ‘O Rew, which is a gateway to redwood forests.
The arrangement follows an historic agreement between the Yurok, California State Parks, the National Park Service and Save the Redwoods League, a nonprofit. It’s the first step towards transferring the ancestral land back to the Yurok permanently.
“Together, we are creating a new conservation model that recognises the value of tribal land management,” said Joseph James, chairman of the Yurok Tribe.
Sam Hodder, president of Save the Redwoods League, said the agreement “starts the process of changing the narrative about how, by whom and for whom we steward natural lands”.
Evidence suggests that one of the best ways to protect forests is to hand them back to Indigenous communities.
DID YOU KNOW?
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR): EMDR is a unique type of trauma therapy that was designed for people with PTSD. The goal is to reduce how vividly and emotionally charged traumatic memories are stored in the brain. Back-and-forth eye movements or another type of bilateral (left/right) stimulation are used to process distressing memories.

Crane Pose (Bakasana)
What is Crane Pose?
Crane pose, or bakasana in Sanskrit, is a challenging arm balance. It is more advanced than crow pose as it requires greater strength in the arms. The practitioner balances on straightened arms, knees pressed against the upper arms and toes touching.
Instructions
From a squat, place the hands on the floor in between the feet.
Squeeze the upper arms with the knees.
Exhale and lean forward, lifting the toes from the floor. Straighten the arms.
Breathe while holding the pose.
