WEEKEND GUIDED MEDITATION
Finding Good Love

1. Find a comfortable seat, or if you prefer, you can even lie down on your back with something to support your head and neck.

2. After settling in, inhale deeply a few times. Close your eyes, feel the support of the earth beneath your body, and surrender any attempt to regulate your breathing. Next, let go of whatever tension or stress you may be holding onto.

3. Picture you and your partner many years from now at the end of your lives. Together, you are seated in cozy chairs along the edge of a crystal-clear lake that is so quiet you can see the horizon's reflection on its surface. Your hair is gray, and your skin is wrinkly. Together, you've had an incredible run. It's the ideal day when your significant other extends their hand to hold yours as you sit together.

4. Looking at it this way, recall the details of the day you two met, including who you were with, where you were, and what transpired. And simply acknowledge the sense of thankfulness for having connected.

5. Now, think back to the day you were married, or if that’s not relevant, to some other meaningful day. Imagine the situation. Recall the attendees. Recall your attire and your emotions at that precise moment. And simply acknowledge the sense of thankfulness.

6. Think back to a moment when you were struggling, and your partner showed up to support you. It could be a challenging year, a layoff, or a significant obstacle of some kind. Recall your surroundings and emotions, and try to sense that sense of support again. And simply take note of that thankfulness once more.

7. Remember a milestone moment you shared with your partner. It could be a child's birth, the opening of a business, or some other significant life achievement. Recall your location, visualize the two of you, and recollect the celebration and enjoyment of this particular time. And simply acknowledge the sense of thankfulness.

8. Now return to those two chairs facing the lake and spend the next minute or so just savoring this experience of gratitude and appreciation for your partner.

9. When you’re ready, take a few final deep breaths, relax even more into this experience of gratitude.

10. After that, start to open your eyes and return to the present moment.

CRYSTAL OF THE DAY

TIP OF THE DAY

Try Minimalism
True joy and love can only be found by enjoying your possessions and experiences, not material possessions.

You want someone to tell you at your passing how wonderful your life was and how you accomplished everything you set out to do! Not that you were a hoarder or had a large collection of things. Happiness is appreciating what you already have that can result in amazing discoveries like cooking a healthy meal from scratch.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.
