TODAY'S LEARNING
Healthy Mindful Habits

Here are quick and easy mindful habits to incorporate into your everyday routine:

Number One- Get some fresh air

Stepping outside in the morning, between meetings, or whenever you need a mood boost throughout the day can do wonders for your general health. I want to go outside as soon as I get up since morning light is very good for you. According to research, getting outside first thing in the morning—even just peeking into the garden—resets your body clock and can assist in regulating hormones that are disrupted while you sleep.

Number Two- Deep Breathing Practice

My favourite breathing technique is the 4-6-4 counted breath. I've used it when I've felt anxious or stressed out or when I've had difficulties sleeping. Its simplicity is also its strength. Exhale for six counts before inhaling for four. After three repetitions, gradually let your breath to return to normal. The nice thing about this method is that no one will know you're using it when you're driving or in a conference.

Number Three - Stop to Stretch

As a society, we spend a lot of time sitting, often in uncomfortable positions. If you don't have time to commit to a full 60-minute yoga session, these quick stretches will still allow you to move mindfully throughout the day.

Clasp your hands together with the palms towards the ceiling as you raise your arms above your head. Stretch to one side as you exhale. Exhale to the other side as you inhale, then raise your hands once more.

If you're sitting in a chair, lean to one side and rest your hand or forearm on the chair's back. When you exhale, gently turn your body to look towards your back shoulder.

Number Four: Gratitude Journaling

Even though it is one of the more basic habits, many have the most difficulty incorporating it into their daily routine. I've discovered that journaling in the morning or right before bed had the most advantages.

If you aren't sure where to start, I suggest picking 1-3 things that you have been grateful for that day and jotting them down in a notebook with the date above.

Number Five: Self Care

Although five minutes may not seem like much time to indulge in some pampering, scheduling time for this habit may make even a short period of time feel wonderful.

Today's Deal: Get 95% Off - The Ultimate Manifestation Bundle

About: Maybe you already manifest regularly or you’ve heard of it, but never tried it. Manifesting means using the power of your thoughts, feelings or beliefs to bring something into your physical reality.

At first, it sounds abstract, but science has proven, everything is made of energy: objects, animals, thoughts, and humans.

There are laws that control how this energy flows and where it goes just as there are laws of gravity and laws of growth. The more you know about these laws the easier it is to navigate the energy you need in the right direction.

No wonder that even stars like Will Smith, Jim Carrey, Oprah Winfrey, and Lady Gaga swear by manifestation as the secret to their success.

Jim Carrey makes it sound really simple. He says: “As far as I can tell, it’s just about letting the universe know what you want and then working towards it while letting go of how it comes to pass.”

Yet, there are reasons why some people are better at manifesting than others.

There are a couple of fundamentals you need to understand in order to apply manifestation effectively. With a little guidance and the right techniques, your best life is waiting for you.

Don’t Cut Carbs, Do This Instead

It turns out, the key to losing weight — and keeping it off — is not in carbs, fat, or even in probiotic-rich foods.

No, the endgame of having a healthy weight — as well as more energy, and a long, healthy life — comes down to a specific “switch” you can flip in your body to “flush out” unnecessary calories.

Dr. Steven Gundry is calling this a “Caloric Bypass” And by activating this specific process in your body, he has seen thousands — yes thousands — of people dramatically improve their health, even at age 50 and beyond.

This includes losing weight, getting tons more energy, and returning to the good health they had in their youth once they simply addressed this one key to better health.

His video has been watched by over 20 million people to date and you can watch and learn more about it.

 WEEKLY ASTROLOGY

On August 1, 2023, there will be a full Moon in Aquarius, ushering us into a new phase of culmination and surrender, release, and conclusion. Life seems a little bit magical while the Moon is in this sign.

Aquarius is an objective, wise-sharing air sign that resides in the mind. It provides context. It exists apart from the shifting societal norms and general consensus. It purifies our thought processes and makes our emotions clear. As we navigate the emotional waters that the Moon so beautifully portrays, it allows us to observe objectively.

The apparent backward journey of Chiron retrograde has started, and it will last through December 26, 2023. It asks us to look at these wounds at this moment. It encourages us to look deep and embrace what needs to be healed. It also challenges us to rethink our memories, perspectives, and interactions with those wounds in light of the fact that this is where our deepest knowledge resides.

CRYSTAL OF THE DAY

LEARN SANSKRIT
Yoga (yoh -gha)

Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means "to yoke" or "to unite." The practice seeks to unite the body, mind, and spirit, as well as the personal and universal awareness and consciousness.

MANTRA OF THE WEEK
Om Shanti

Om Shanti (Sanskrit: ॐ शान्तिः) is an invocation for peace or an invocation to God and is usually chanted three times to become om shanti shanti shanti. This mantra means “om, peace, peace, peace.” The phrase can be seen as a salutation, but it appears mostly in Hindu and Buddhist prayers, writings and ceremonies.

The word “om” is thought to constitute the divine in the form of sound. It is the universal sound where its utterance is the sound of creation itself. The word “shanti” means a deep and profound level of peace. It is the root of the word shalom in Hebrew or “salam” in Arabic. Originally, shanti came from the Sanskrit root “sham,” which means, calm, soothing and happy. Sanskrit has many linguistic and phonological changes that can occur and transition words to other forms of itself; thus “sham” eventually changes into “shanti”.
