TODAY'S LEARNINGMiracle Morning- Brahma Muhurta
Brahma muhurta is a Sanskrit word that means "the creator's time," "the time of Brahma," "sacred time," or "the time of divinity." People believe that our prana, or life force energy, is strongest in the early morning, just before sunrise. It starts an hour and 36 minutes before sunrise and lasts for 48 minutes. People think that this is the best time to do yoga because this is when the mind and body are in the most balanced state. The air is calm and peaceful, and the quiet makes me feel at ease.
People say that Brahma muhurta is the best time of day for spiritual practice. It is a time of change, and your mind is most open to the subtle energies of nature at this time.
There are a few things that people should minimize or avoid doing during brahma muhurta to make the most of this spiritual time. Don't eat or drink because it can throw off the balance of your prana, which is your life force energy. If you want to get into a meditative state of mind, don't do activities that require a lot of energy. Do not use electronic devices like cell phones, computers, or TVs because the light they give off can make it hard for you to focus. Do not force yourself to stay awake if you feel tired or sleepy; instead, take a quick nap.
The benefits of Brahma Muhurta:1. No distractions or interruptions
2. Improved spiritual awareness
3. Increased productivity

POSITIVE NEWS OF THE DAY
Seniors in high school were able to get $250,000 for their sweet 80-year-old janitor, who had to come out of retirement because his rent had gone up.
The money was raised through a GoFundMe that started out with a simple goal of $10,000 but quickly became its own goal.
Several seniors at Callisburg High School in Texas noticed that their school had a new janitor. "Mr. James" was an 80-year-old former retiree whose rent had gone up $400 and who needed a job to pay it.
They thought that their youthful expertise of the internet and social media could help, so they came up with the idea to start a GoFundMe to help Mr. James, who is 80, get back to doing things that 80-year-olds do.
FOOD FOR THE SOULAyurveda Recipes: Creamy Green Detox Soup
This recipe came from Vaidya R. K. Mishra, who used it in his treatment plan for immune disorders. This quick soup is both healthy and cleansing. If you eat it often, it can make up for nutrient deficiencies, boost your immune system, and bring back your energy. It makes it easier for the protein and minerals that most people look for in raw, green smoothies to be digested. This soup can be eaten by anyone. If you eat it a few times a week, try different greens to get different nutrients and flavors.
Ingredients
START THE SOUP
2 cups zucchini
2 cups green beans
2 cups celery
4 cups cold water
BLEND INTO THE SOUP
1 cup parsley, watercress, or cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt
SEASON THE SOUP
1 teaspoon ghee
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
lemon, freshly squeezed, to taste
Instructions
Roughly chop zucchini, green beans, and celery. Chop the celery into 1/2-inch pieces or less to eliminate stringiness, but otherwise, don’t worry about being perfect with your pieces, since the soup will be blended.
Place all the vegetables in a saucepan and cover with 4 cups cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and partially cover. Cook until soft, about 25 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Meanwhile, mince your ginger and set aside until needed. Roughly chop your fresh herbs, and set aside.
Use an immersion blender to blend the vegetables into a smooth puree. You can also use a regular blender to puree, but be sure to allow the soup to cool before blending, and/or leave room for steam to escape.
Add fresh herbs and salt, and blend a little more
Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a tiny skillet or saucepan on medium heat. After the ghee melts, add the cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds start to brown and become aromatic, add fresh ginger, and continue to sauté until lightly browned. Turn off the heat and transfer the spices to the blended soup along with the fresh lemon.
Stir well, and taste. Does it need more salt? Does it need more lemon?
