The Weekend Positive News Roundup:1. British Company Develops First Tractor in the World to be Completely Powered by Cow Dung...

With the help of a brand-new tractor from New Holland, farmers can reduce their emissions while also saving money on pricey diesel.

But that's not the only reason it's more effective; according to the business, the fuel can also be created with no difficulty from the methane found in cow pies, enabling a more circular economic model in the most circular of industries.

The ground-breaking 270 horsepower tractor is said to perform on par with counterparts powered by normal diesel engines. The innovative device was created by British business Bennamann, which has spent more than ten years studying and perfecting biomethane production.

In a biomethane storage facility located on the farm, waste byproducts from a herd as small as 100 cows are converted into a fuel known as fugitive methane.

2. Spain Doesn't Like Cigarette Butts...

Tobacco companies will have to pay to clean up cigarette butts from Friday, the Guardian reported this week.

The Spanish government has not yet revealed how the cleanup will be implemented, or what it will cost tobacco companies, but it is estimated to be in the region of €1bn (£880m).

Cigarette ends are among the most commonly littered items in Europe and pose a danger to wildlife. The new environmental regulation also includes a ban on plastic straws and cutlery.

3. A Mysterious Mosaicist is Fixing Streets...

A Banksy-style street artist is turning urban decay into something beautiful while making Europe’s streets safer for pedestrians.

Describing himself as a “bitumen mender, sidewalk poet, and macadam surgeon”, Lyon-based Ememem has been filling in potholes with colorful mosaics. His artworks have appeared across the continent.

But while his creations are becoming increasingly visible, the artist himself remains incognito.

4. Water-Filled Windows Use Sunlight to Heat and Cool Buildings

Startup Water Filled Glass has developed panes of glass filled with water that uses sunlight to power an energy-saving heating and cooling system.

By absorbing thermal energy, the water-filled glass limits how much solar heat gain enters the building through the window.

This technology will help make heavily glazed buildings significantly more sustainable.

YOGAPEDIACat-Cow With Knees Crossed

How to do it: Start on all fours in a tabletop position, with shoulders over wrists and hips over knees. Cross your right knee in front of your left knee until knees are touching and feet are separated about hips-width distance from one another. Inhale, as you arch your back, drop your belly toward the mat, and look up to the ceiling for Cow pose. On the exhale, round your spine, draw belly button to spine, and roll the head forward to come toward the mat for Cat pose. Follow your breath to perform 20 to 30 repetitions and then switch your legs and repeat.

Why it works: This is a dynamic hip opener position that releases tension in the hips and lower back and improves spinal flexibility. Your joints become more flexible, moisturized, and spacious, enabling you to move more freely and effectively.
