HOW TO:Daily Emotional Release Of Anger & Fear
Have you ever thought about including a self-care practice for releasing emotions in your daily schedule? It's beneficial to prioritize our energetic hygiene by regularly cleansing our energy fields, just as we prioritize our physical hygiene with routines like taking showers and brushing our teeth. We can develop a clear and balanced flow of energy that leads to more vitality, joy, and fulfillment in our lives by committing to a regular practice of emotional release.
Anger
The strong emotion of anger causes our energy to rise. When out of balance or suppressed for an extended period of time, it can lead to a range of other emotions such as resentment, frustration, irritability, and bitterness. These feelings could eventually result in violent emotional outbursts, which could be dangerous for both us and those around us. Chronically suppressing anger can also result in diseases like high blood pressure, tension, headaches, and inflammation.
On the other hand, anger has its uses when it is in moderation. It can inspire us to make positive changes in our lives and the world, as well as assist us in establishing or reiterating boundaries to safeguard ourselves against abuse. We can gain understanding into what's causing our anger and use it as a tool for growth by accepting it and becoming more aware of what sets it off.
Fear
Fear has a special way of pulling our energy inward, which causes a constriction. When we're constantly afraid, it can exacerbate our feelings of insecurity, panic, avoidance, and loneliness. Fear can have serious physical consequences over time, including chronic pain, sleep problems, weakened immunity, and adrenal fatigue.
Fear's vigilant awareness can be a useful life tool when it exists in harmony. Fear is a normal reaction to threats or danger, and it can keep us safe by warning us about potential dangers and motivating us to take protective action. In this way, fear can act as a safeguard that keeps us safe and helps us avoid harm. Fear can encourage spiritual development by strengthening our belief in a higher power. When we experience fear, we may find comfort in the belief that there is a greater plan for our lives and that we are being guided and protected. We can develop courage, emotional resilience, strength, and wisdom by facing our fears with this faith, which will make it easier for us to deal with challenges in the future.
Emotional Release Practice
Select an emotion that you currently have a strong attachment to or one that you feel like you're either over-expressing or suppressing.
Acknowledge how the imbalance of that emotion is currently impacting your mind and body.
Honor the emotion by listing the ways that emotion has positively influenced your life, either now or in the past, and thank that emotion for serving you in these ways.
Release the emotion through a simple practice of using the breath to cleanse it from your energy field. Take one natural inhalation. On the exhalation, imagine releasing any attachments to the specific emotion. On the subsequent inhalation, imagine refilling with fresh, clean energy. To receive the greatest benefit from this breathwork practice, repeat this cycle for at least 10 rounds.

DID YOU KNOW?
Ayurvedic medicines contain not only herbs but also other substances like milk, ghee, butter, honey, molasses, gingelly oil, rock salts, minerals, ashes and self-fermented alcohol. While herbs are a major component of the medicines prescribed, other compounds are used as well. In some cases the other compounds are adjuvants or carriers (help the medicine perform better) and in others they form the medicine itself.
