WEEKEND LEARNING
Healing Childhood Trauma

Here are ten journal prompts specifically crafted to help you gently explore, process, and heal from childhood trauma. These prompts focus on self-reflection, nurturing self-compassion, and embracing the growth that comes with healing.

1. Reflect on a specific memory from childhood that still affects you today. Write about what happened, how it made you feel then, and how it impacts you now. What does your adult self want to say to your younger self in that moment?

2. Describe a place or activity where you felt safe as a child. What made it feel safe? How can you create a similar feeling of safety for yourself now?

3. Who were your role models growing up? Were they positive or negative influences? Reflect on how they shaped your beliefs, behaviors, or expectations of yourself and others.

4. Write about a time you felt unseen or unheard as a child. What would you say to your younger self if you could? How would you advocate for them in that moment?

5. Think about a quality you developed as a way to protect yourself as a child. How has it served you? How might it be limiting you now, and what new approach might serve you better?

6. What do you remember learning about love, acceptance, and self-worth as a child? Reflect on how these early messages impact your relationships today. What beliefs would you like to change?

7. Identify three things you needed as a child but didn’t receive. How can you give these things to yourself now? Write about small ways to incorporate them into your life.

8. Imagine your younger self standing in front of you right now. What do they need to hear most? Write a letter to them with words of love, compassion, and reassurance.

9. What do you believe about yourself today that might stem from unprocessed pain from your childhood? How true is that belief, and how might you begin to see yourself in a more compassionate light?

10. Describe a small act of kindness, fun, or playfulness you can do for yourself this week. How can incorporating this into your life help you nurture and reparent your inner child?

Use these prompts as gently as you need, taking breaks or exploring one at a time. Healing happens gradually, and journaling can be a comforting way to explore these feelings.

TOGETHER WITH MOOD
These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2023

If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.

Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.

Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

CRYSTAL OF THE DAY

TIP OF THE DAY

Try the "5-5-5" breathing technique. When you feel stressed, pause and inhale slowly for 5 seconds, hold your breath for 5 seconds, then exhale for 5 seconds. Repeat this cycle three to five times.

This simple practice helps reset your nervous system, bringing you back to a centered and calm state.
