Sacred Feminine Power

Sacred Feminine as a paradigm of Universal Motherhood. It is a theory that incorporates and accepts ideas about the Divine Mother, mythological goddesses, celestial realms, the Divine Self within, Mother Earth doctrines, and native American mythology. The Sacred Feminine is the nurturing, welcoming, accessible, kind, gentle (yet firm or fierce when necessary), compassionate, accepting, forgiving, patient, and wise attitude of the Loving Mother Essence.

We are residing in an era of immense development and expansion. As we move through the age of information, or the Piscean Age (masculine), and move deeper into the age of intuition, or the Aquarian Age (feminine), many of us are hearing the inner call to reclaim our Sacred Feminine gifts. All of mankind must awaken to the divine beauty of their creativity, sexuality, and receptivity if they are to flourish.

4 Ways to Harness Sacred Feminine Power

Through honoring the Sacred Feminine, we find natural access to spiritual qualities like receptivity, patience, the ability to listen, and the care for life. These are four powerful ways that we might use the Sacred Feminine to our benefit.

1. Drop From Your Head Into Your Heart

The nurturer, the healer, and the empathetic broker of peace are all represented by divine feminine energy. Her compass is compassion, and she makes decisions from the heart. Although the masculine energy is directed toward action and accomplishment, it's critical to recognize and reconcile the two facets of who we are. The Sacred Feminine has been stifled by the system in which we have been living. Because of the imbalance that results from our constant pressure to accomplish more, achieve more, push harder, and do more, a great number of us feel empty, tired, and burned out. Your life will change if you move from your head—the place of overanalyzing, answering, and rationalizing—to your heart—the place of unification, compassion, and love. You will have greater clarity and confidence, and things that used to be difficult for you will become easier to handle.

2. Connect With Nature

One of the greatest ways to establish a connection with this kind, all-pervasive spirit is to spend more time in Mother Nature. The creative feminine force is unrestrained in nature. You may see its physical beauty. Grounding, sometimes referred to as earthing, is one of the most transformative techniques for discovering your inner light. It involves physically connecting our bodies to the earth to reestablish the electromagnetic balance required for healing and maximum health. To awaken your divine feminine energy, even a five-minute walk barefoot in the grass or some fresh air can be soul-nourishing.

3. Find Balance

The Sacred Feminine is not about gender, as this energy lives in all of us, but much of our society operates from a masculine “hustle and do” mentality, which doesn’t allow for much room to just be. Action (masculine) and allowing (feminine) energies coexist; we need to strike a balance between them. If we only embody one of the two, we will either get nowhere or push ourselves to the point of exhaustion and frustration. The key is balance. When we do, we are both acting with inspiration and embracing and fulfilling every one of our objectives.

4. Honor the Stillness and Reclaim Rest

The masculine energy is fed more than the feminine because we are driven by a "get-more-done" mentality and are always trying to do more, accomplish more, and obtain more. But the divine feminine energy revels in being. Too many of us don't give ourselves enough time to unwind and enjoy the fine art of doing nothing. Take five minutes to sit in stillness and see what arises. You can establish a connection with your inner Sacred Feminine and divine light by setting aside some time each day to be at one with yourself.

Ingredients

1 tbsp BASIL

1/2 inch GINGER (FRESH)

1 tsp GREEN TEA

Instructions

Chop 1/2 inch of fresh ginger. Bring 2c of water and ginger to a boil, and lower to a simmer. Meanwhile chop 10 fresh basil leaves. No need to be exact! After 5 minutes of boiling, remove from heat. Add basil and 1-2 tsps green tea leaves (feel free to use a tea bag). Steep for two-three minutes. Strain by putting a strainer over each cup and pouring tea through. Enjoy!
