Don’t like your body? Your relationship? Your job?
CHANGE IT.
We sit around thinking about how miserable we are about various things much too frequently. We ask ourselves, "How do I change?" without making an attempt. We assign blame to our situation or offer justifications for our inability to change, at least not immediately. Here's a secret: You are the only one who can make positive changes in your life.
Nobody else has the ability to create their own business, go to the gym, or communicate with their relationship like you do. The only person who can make a difference in your life is you. So why don’t you?
FEAR.
There are many different kinds of fear, but they are all just limiting beliefs. These are the convictions you have about your identity and potential. And they’re the only thing that holds you back from embracing how to change yourself. Here's how to get over your anxieties, decide, and give it your all—no matter what.
1. ELIMINATE SELF-DOUBT
A common component of our negative inner monologue is self-doubt. “Maybe I shouldn’t really do this,” we think. "Perhaps it's not the best idea." We ask ourselves over and over again if we should bother lifting weights or eating better. It’s not going to work anyway, is it? You’ve done it before and it didn’t work then. And everyone has a job they don’t like. Failing would be terrible, so you don’t even make an effort. The first step in changing your life is getting rid of these unfavorable beliefs and substituting them with ones that will empower you.
2. CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF FAILURE
Fear of failure is another common limiting belief that prevents us from fully committing to our goals. When you make a commitment to change, the secret is to overcome your fear of failing. It makes sense that you are afraid—any kind of change can be unsettling. But you'll be precisely where you have always been if you don't even try. Even though you won't fail, you won't advance. It won't teach you. Shift your mindset to think of failures as learning opportunities and your whole world will change.
3. MODEL SOMEONE WHO INSPIRES YOU
Committing to change is easier when you face it with someone who’s been there. Find someone who has achieved the results that you want – they lost 30 pounds, have their dream career or are truly happy with their life. Learn the steps that this person took to get their current position. What choice did they make that enabled them to walk into the future they desired? Finding someone who motivates you in this way is known as modeling, and it's an excellent method to figure out what actions are necessary to accomplish your objective.
4. CHANGE YOUR PATTERNS
The answer to “How do I change?” is always to look within yourself. Every human has cognitive patterns and behavioral habits. People don’t achieve repeated success because they’re lucky. They consistently succeed because they have discovered an effective method, plan, or technique and have modified these patterns to operate in their favor rather than against them. When you find someone to model, look at their patterns and habits and apply them to your own life. You’ll likely find they have a strong morning ritual, leverage the power of proximity and feed their minds with the right fuel.
5. WRITE IT DOWN
What’s one small decision you could make right now that would take you in the direction you need to go? What’s a big decision that might be really tough, but if you made it, it would take you in a new direction in your life? Put these ideas on paper and begin formulating a plan to carry them out. Even if they most likely won't happen right away and will require time and effort, writing them down is a great technique to convince yourself that you will succeed. They are no longer merely ideas in your head. You can refer to this list of terms on paper at any time.
6. COMMIT TO MASSIVE ACTION
A lot of people tend to make “sorta kinda” decisions: “I’ll do this. . . someday.” Here’s the secret behind why people don’t follow through: The reason people don’t commit to a decision is that they don’t act on it. You may have thought that it’s the other way around – that you have to commit to a decision before you act on it. But you have to force yourself to take the first step, which is the hardest thing to take, if you want to show yourself that you're fully dedicated to change and that you're going to follow through.

Leg Cradle Pose (Hindolasana)
What is Leg Cradle Pose?
Leg cradle pose, or hindolasana in Sanskrit, is a beginner's hip opener. In a seated position with one leg extended, the other leg is bent and cradled in toward the chest. The pose is also called rock the baby or baby cradle pose.
Instructions
Sit with the legs extended.
Exhale and draw the right knee toward the chest.
Place the right foot inside of the left elbow, and wrap the right arm around the right leg. Clasp the hands.
Draw the leg toward the chest and gently rock the leg side to side.
Exhale and release. Change sides.
