Types of Self-Esteem
1. High and unstable
This is one of the most common forms of self-esteem. If you fall into this group, you are someone who, although having a high sense of self-worth, finds it difficult to hold onto it under pressure. Although you have a lot of confidence, you tend to doubt your skills and abilities when faced with stressful conditions.
You lack the necessary resources and strategies to handle such circumstances. So in case you get resistance and opposition from others, you end up taking it personally or you refuse to listen to other people’s solutions.
2. High and stable
When faced with a challenging scenario, people who have a strong sense of self-worth are usually quite confident in themselves and know just how to manage it. They have a strong sense of self esteem and are rarely bothered by negative situations. One of the constructive forms of self-esteem is this one. They have faith in their skills and feel they have the proper attitude to tackle even the most difficult situations. Even if they have people disagreeing with them, they never lose their cool and are always able to calmly put forward their opinions without letting it turn into an ugly affair.
3. Unstable and low
Amongst all the different types of self esteem, this one is probably one of the easiest to recognize. Individuals who have unstable or poor self-esteem frequently doubt themselves and believe they are incapable of handling any situation. They are too worried to stand up for what's right, desire to always blend in, and are sensitive. Even in situations where it is abundantly evident that someone is incorrect, their low self-esteem prevents them from challenging them. Feeling scared and not being able to speak up for themselves eventually starts to take a toll on their mental and emotional health.
4. Stable and low
Individuals that have consistent, low self-esteem are frequently underestimated, and until they demonstrate their worth, they are viewed as the bad guys. Actually, all they really need is a little bit of support and affirmation to realize that they are more than capable of realizing their aspirations.
At the same time, because they are a bit on the underconfident side, they need a lot of reassurance and emotional support. They often wind up taking the backseat, even when it's not necessary, and they don't fight hard for what they believe in. Probably one of the hardest and saddest forms of low self-esteem is this one.
5. Regular and vulnerable
Among the most fascinating varieties of self-esteem is this one. When you have vulnerable self esteem, it means that you have positive self-perception, but sometimes challenging situations end up taking a toll on you. When you experience challenging circumstances, such as losing your job, going through a split or divorce, or losing a loved one, you find yourself in an extremely vulnerable mental and emotional state. Because you don't truly trust yourself, this kind of thing makes you want to get away from the situation and do your best to avoid making any big judgments. You would much rather delegate critical decision-making to someone else.

She Finally Earned Her Stanford Master’s Degree at 105: ‘I’ve waited a long time for this’
DID YOU KNOW?
In 2006, a study was done where participants were given money and asked to think of a cause they may want to donate it. The results showed that just the act of thinking about giving activated the same pleasure-seeking parts of the brain as eating and exercise. An MRI showed that donating stimulates the reward center part of the brain, which is involved with the feeling of euphoria.

Extended Side Angle Pose (Utthita Parsvakonasana)
What is Extended Side Angle Pose?
Extended side angle pose, or utthita parsvakonasana in Sanskrit, is a standing pose that's often sequenced in between warrior poses. From warrior two, the yogi leans their torso toward their bent leg and reaches their arm in line with the torso. The pose provides a deep stretch to the groin and hamstrings.
Instructions
Begin in warrior two with the right leg bent.
Exhale and lean the torso to the right. Rest the right forearm on the right thigh and reach the left arm overhead.
To deepen the pose, exhale and lower the right fingertips to the floor. Stretch the left arm alongside the ear so that it's in line with the torso.
Breathe while holding the pose.
Inhale and return to warrior two. Change sides and repeat.
